For a very long time, however,
I'm the only one that thinks
That we'd be cute together

That's what friends are for,"
I can't help thinking: "Friendship?
I want it to be more."
Well, I know it's not your fault,
But I do think it's a shame,
No matter what I feel for you
You'll never feel the same.

Hooray, another awesome poem 
*reading over and over again* (I'm going to analysing this wonderful piece of poem)
1) This in First person, so we readers can understand that of what this person thinks/feels. In the first stanza this person thinks about another person(/thing) that they've known for " a very long time", However this person who is thinking "we'd be cute together" - I'm guessing a crush of some sort
or a animal for a pet?........................ anyway.
In the second stanza "Friendship? I want it to be more." which probably means either for love or to be best friends? (Only you know the answer).......................................
Finally in the last stanza, the Person confesses that the other person can't return their love or can't become best friends for some strange reason
TO conclude my analysing this poem has stolen my heart
