You are a pirate

It has been, a While since I did one of these, but I was pretty stuck in terms of art motivation and drawing anything felt pointless as a result. So I decided to draw traditionally again, because it's easier to make a scenery come to life on paper, at least for me. These are two of my characters, Marlon (on the boat) and Benny (walking over to him). They're pretty fond of the sea and boats, so they probably would have played sailors/pirates a lot when they were younger (they probably mixed it up a lot... sometimes bad guys, sometimes good guys).
Benny actually grows up to be a sailor later. Marlon probably ends up doing something else with his life, but the two of them remain close regardless. Possibly keep in touch through letters when Benny is away.

Adding all those details was oddly therapeutic, and this is a scene I've had in mind for a long time, feels good to actually draw it. I hope you like it as well!
